Fenton High School Academic Resources Center, Bensenville, IL /2020/ 75 leaves / based on the desire to unite the colors, textures and purpose of the room with an art installation/ library area

Edgewood High School of the Sacred Heart , Madison, WI /2022/ 5 pieces/ 24”x36”/ based on Wisconsin native plants and inspired by the style of Georgia O’Keefe who was a student at the school. Hung in the library.

Fenton High School Academic Resources Center, Bensenville, IL /2020/ 75 leaves / based on the desire to unite the colors, textures and purpose of the room with an art installation/ stage and meeting circle where students can stand under the slightly floating, moving canopy of leaves

Bartels Middle School, Portage, WI/ 2019/ 4’x7’/ based on a historical plat map of the town and students learned about land use planning and how the natural landscape and man must learn to work together.

Lake Zurich Middle School South, Lake Zurich, IL / 2018 / 4’x16’ / based on the book “I Will Always Write Back”, a friendship between African and American children. The letters turning into birds are actually memoirs about the book written by students, printed on silk fabric and stiffened and shaped into birds. The author came to the school and the piece was hung in the library and dedicated during the visit.

Mississippi Art Commission, Tupelo, MS/ 2018/ based on actual sheet music of an Elvis Presley song and the work educators do in helping their students dream.

Wegner Elementary School, West Chicago, IL / 2018/ 5’ x 9’/ based on colors for each grade and hearts for teachers and staff in a fun abstract piece that also included presentations to the whole school about fiber art as well as a community felting night.

Prairie View Elementary, North Prairie, WI / 2018/ 4’x8’/ based on the surroundings of the landscape. Older students needle felted the petals and dragon flies (not pictured, but installed to be flying in front of the piece)

Jay Stream Middle School, Carol Stream, IL/ 2016/ 2’x25’ / each student made a small needle felted piece that was added to a background fabric and then all felted to fuse. This is installed in the lunchroom.

Oak Park Elementary, Aurora, IL / 2019/ 16 pieces/ varying sizes from 2’x4’ to 3’x5’ / large scale leaves hung suspended as falling from stairwell corridors.

Union Church Early Childhood Programs, Hinsdale, IL 2018 /9 pieces 2’x2’/ based on changing seasons in a familiar woodland scene. These were then photographed and made into notecards for fundraising and the original pieces were auctioned off as well.

Central Elementary School, Riverside, IL / 2018/ 3’x8’ / based on a park found in the town and in addition to this piece, students also made their own small pieces to take home: younger grades made a wet felted acorns and the older grades made felted woodland animals

Salt Creek Primary School, Elmhurst, IL/ 2017/ 30”x 65”/ based on the “bee” principles of the school. Teachers made the bees and Pre-K, K and 1st grade students made the flowers!
